Enriched Housing: Senior Independent Living in a Safe, Serene Environment

Our Enriched Housing program, also known as the Renken Apartments, is specifically for independent seniors who want the convenience of community living.

Our senior independent living facility provides long-term residential care for individuals ages 65 years and older in an integrated community setting, which includes housing, housekeeping, personal care, and supervision. The Plattduetsche Home Society features 51 Enriched Housing apartment units, including six studios, 39 one-bedrooms, and six two-bedrooms.

Our Enriched Housing program creates a rich and fulfilling retirement senior independent living experience. In addition to the attractive natural landscape, you will enjoy wonderful amenities and services to make your golden years truly special.

The Living Environment

In our Enriched Housing program, you will be able to enjoy a comfortable, private living environment with other features, including:

  • A fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher
  • A private, ceramic tile bathroom with tub or walk-in shower (some units have both) equipped with safety handrails
  • Walk-in closet
  • A private balcony with sliding door access
  • Individually controlled heating and air-conditioning
  • High-speed Internet and TV services are available to all residents (at an additional cost)

  • Emergency call response system connected to the nurse’s assistant station
